Send-off Program for UPD Exchange Students
The Send-off Program hosted by Chancellor Michael L. Tan and Pre-departure Orientation at Balay Kalinaw on 30 January 2017.
The second batch of UPD exchange students for A.Y. 2016-2017 was hosted to a Send-off Luncheon, by the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs. The send-off ceremonies were led by Chancellor Michael L. Tan and Vice-Chancellor Benito M. Pacheco. This was followed by a Pre-departure Orientation moderated by Prof. Gilda Uy as Program Development Associate of OIL Diliman and International Program Officers, Noelle Rivera and Jeffrey Abellon. The program began with messages from UPD officials, followed by a musical performance from students of UP College of Music.
57 Students under the exchange program will be leaving starting February 2017. The main objective of this gathering was to, firstly, honor the students who have gone through a vigorous selection process overseen by the International Student Mobility Committee and finally to be oriented on living and studying in the host countries.
