Memorandum No. OVCAA-ECA 17-001: Call for Applications for Faculty Mobility Programs in Japan
The Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA) through its Office of International Linkages (OIL) Diliman is now accepting applications by regular UPD faculty members for the following faculty international mobility programs offered by our partner institutions. May we request you to disseminate to your faculty, the invitations for the following programs?
- 2-Week Visiting Fellowship at the University of Shizuoka, Japan
- 2018 Hitachi Scholarship – Research Support Program, Japan
Entitlements under the programs vary, but all offer round-trip airfare and daily/monthly stipends. Applicants may refer to the information sheet attached to this memo for more information about the programs. We encourage applicants to prepare in advance, the documents that may take some time to obtain (e.g. valid passport) to enable them to meet the deadlines set by the inviting institutions.
All application documents must be received by Ms. Noelle Rivera or Mr. Jeffrey Abellon, on or before the prescribed dates for each program, at Room 102, DILC Building, Magsaysay Avenue corner Apacible Street, UP Diliman, Quezon City (near NCTS/Sundial and Computer Center). Applications will, therafter, be evaluated by the UPD Faculty and REPS International Mobility Committee.
